This book is published to celebrate the opening of the Hayward Pavilion and foyer extension in October 2003. The highlight of the project is an elliptical, two-way-mirrored-glass pavilion designed by New York based artist Dan Graham, who conceived and developed the project with Haworth Tompkins Architects. This publication follows the development of this innovative project and includes excerpts from an interview with Dan Graham, by Mark Francis. and architect.
