La Promenade de Konig Immerlustik

Rare first self-published book by Gunter Rambow, published two years before the better known “Doris”. Some minor wear to wrappers, otherwise fine. 192 full page photographs showing the buttocks of his wife Betty. The scenes are taken as a sequence of life, sometimes subtle, sometimes in conspicuous places, in the Mountain Park in Kassel, in spaces and places of the 4th Documenta with works in the background in fields, in a dilapidated house in the prairie or timber used for the Exposition Universelle de l’Orangerie. The woman herself is never seen. This book of Rambow evokes erotic provocation but also naive innocence.
