Made In USA is a catalogue to accompany a 1967 group exhibition at Galerie Delta, Rotterdam, from February 10 – March 17 1967, featuring artwork by Allan D’Arcangelo, Yayoi Kusama, Claes Oldenburg, Larry Rivers, and Tom Wesselmann. The twelve-page, color-printed book opens with an introduction by Hans Sonnenberg. Sonnenberg explains that the exhibition looked at the New York pop-art scene, but insists that it is only a ‘micro-salon,’ touching on but a few of its important artists and artworks. The remainder of the catalogue documents some of the artworks included, ranging from Kusama’s chairs to Oldenburg’s baked potato and Larry Rivers’ cigar box.
In pristine condition, complete with the laid-in extra page with the Andy Warhol Silver Selfportrait on silver foil paper, with a text on Andy Warhol at the backside.
