Josef Albers taught preliminary design courses (“Grundlehre”) at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) Ulm twice between 1953 and 1955. The Swiss Hans G. Conrad photographed his teaching in extensi- ve series. For the first time, these images are now being published in their entirety.
