Adriatico. Le due sponde 52° Premio Michetti

Even in these nomadic times art can still be steeped in the character of a specific region–and without being in the least provincial. The 52nd edition of the Michetti Prize, curated by Angela Vettese, asked artists born near the Adriatic Sea–a basin so intimate and small that the skirmishes it has witnessed seem incongruous–to address questions of place, belonging and conflict.
